Soul Mates

 I am currently working on a novel about Soul mates and I have red this. This just inspires me to finish it soon.. 

 Yeah, I do believe in soul mates even if they were not meant to be but of course it would be better if they would be..

A SHORT STORY ABOUT SOULMATES

JANE: "My name is Jane. I have a heart condition ever since I was born.
I am living with my father near a lake here in Europe. He was a photographer.
I discovered my passion for painting when I was a kid. I love to paint those pictures that my father captures.
And because I have this heart condition, I'm always left at home with some of our helpers.
One day I was bored, so I decided to paint a face of man. A painting made from the warmth of my heart."

DAN: "My name is Dan. I used to have those eyes until an accident happened and made me lost them.
We may have the money for an operation but we don't have a donor.
Even if I'm currently blind, I live happily with my family here in Asia."

JANE: "Until the day that I'm waiting the most arrived. The day I will die due to my heart condition.
When it was my final minute, I told father to donate my eyes.
The eyes that helped me make my paintings wonderful.
The eyes that showed me how perfect the world is.
The eyes that told me how to appreciate life."

DAN: "I was so happy when I received the news that I'm having an eye donor from Europe.
Weeks later, I had the operation. It was successful.
Finally, I had the second chance to see this world again.
Because of our gratefulness, we decided to visit our donor from Europe.
Jane's father welcomed us and asked us to enter his house.
My! It was full of these very wonderful paintings.
And then I noticed something..."

JANE: "Now, I am a wandering soul.
I saw the man who received my eyes.
I felt very very happy.
And then I noticed something..."

DAN: "The painting that hangs right next to Jane's room looks like me."

JANE: "My painting exactly looks like him."

JANE'S DAD: "That was her last painting. A man that she has never seen before. Never in her life she talked to a man except for me.
And that man is exactly you."

JANE: "And then one thing concluded in my mind..."

DAN: "I was so surprised, but in my head I am thinking that it means..."

JANE'S DAD: "You and Jane were soulmates."

JANE & DAN: "...BUT WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE."

Ouch :'(

thoughts for today

    We should always remember that if something we possess gets lost, it only means that there is something bigger and better that will come along our way..

It is just a way of reminding us that nothing in this world is constant except for changes, new life, death and God.

Valentines Day

How to spend Valentines Day Alone

Today is February 15 and yesterday was Valentines Day!

 Some of the couples, well most of them, were out for a date but what about like me who has no one to date out with?

So here it goes…

Maybe I can help so that next year, if you were going to be by yourself with a not so special occasion like this, you will know what to do or at least you have some ideas. Budget wisely and self worthy. J

After work, I ate my dinner at my pad then since I am a walk away from a mall, decided to spend some few hours there.

Take note, I am alone! So what? Who cares! Hehe.

As I reached the path way to Eastwood mall in Libis, sweet couples, with girls that have flowers and teddy bears and other stuffs are in their hands, are almost blocking my way! Just kidding and I am not bitter. Haha!

I just do some window shop and apparently there’s a free concert so I watched!

After that, I walked and walked realizing all the things currently happening in my life all over again.

I got tired walking and sightseeing so I decided to have a light snack. ( If you can call that light! Hello carbs! Haha!)

Dating my self is not that bad. At least I had the chance to find some time with myself alone once in a while.

I just also realized maybe it would be better if I have been with some of my friends and family who’s always there with me through my ups and downs. Celebrating this kind of day with them is not also a bad idea. 

But anyway, Valentines Day is just a day that has passed while I have to face many more days in the future with my loved ones!
