A Chill Climb with the Best friend and co-volunteers Mount Sipit-Ulang and Payaran Falls Adventure

A Chill Climb with the Best friend and co-volunteers

Mount Sipit-Ulang and Payaran Falls Adventure
Rodriguez, Rizal
Sept. 2016

Payaran Falls is one of my favorite waterfalls. I so love it's structure plus the fact that it is only shallow. Ha-ha. Hello to non-swimmers!

For this day hike, we were only six in the group.

I, my bestfriend – Marky, Mitos, Jedda, Jay-r and Mark. They are all my co-volunteers and this was just a DIY (Do it Yourself) hike.

Our meet up was at Cubao and from there we rode a van going to Montalban Rizal.
From Barangay Eastwood, we rode a tricycle going to the jump off of Mount Sipit Ulang. We then registered and hired a guide that will lead us.
Mount Sipit Ulang is located at Rodriguez Rizal and you can have a side trip to Payaran Falls.
This mountain is 252+ MASL only.

It was just a smooth trail, a bit muddy, and we even had some cave exploring as it was included on our trail.

As we are nearing the summit, it then became a little bit of rocky. And when we reached the summit or the Crab’s Claw rock formations, the view 360 was just an awe.

The view on top is just so breath taking (as usual! and I will never get tired of it).

We took a rest and started our back trail. We were back to the jump off to have our lunch and then we’re ready again for another adventure and this time to Payaran Falls.

I didn’t know that it has a lot of river crossings and I was wearing shoes. So no choice, I have to soak my shoes.
I love the waterfalls when we reached if after an hour. It then became one of my favorites!

After some playtime at the water, we were then headed back to the jump off area to wash off.

Another day has passed and yet it was another unforgettable adventure for me and for my friends!

Roxas, Capiz and Antique Trip (Back To My Hometown)

Roxas, Capiz and Antique Trip
(Back To My Hometown)
August 2016

I thought I won't be able to be with my family on this trip because of my new work. But luckily, my boss allowed me to take a leave. Thank you, Boss! Luv you!

I had to take a leave from work to attend my auntie's church wedding and since I was one of her bridesmaids.

Start of Day 1 ...

Thursday morning was our flight going to Roxas Capiz together with my family. My mom and I even had a selfie photo with Chris Tiu at the airport. Ha-ha!

(I'll try to find that photo and will insert here)

My cousins and I had the chance to take a little tour around Roxas City. We also went to a mall and to the hotel where our Auntie will be staying for a night.

The following day was the wedding day and everyone was so busy for this very special event.

We had our gown wearing and make up at a hotel.

I love the simplicity of the hotel. I even take a peek at the pool on its rooftop.

I love going to churches I have never been before. There's a saying that you can wish if it is your first time to enter a church and that is what I always do. 😊

The location of the reception was on a hill and it was really a nice place as if it was like an Hacienda.

(Disclaimer: I won't be posting any pictures of my family for privacy matters. So pardon if you will get tired seeing just my face. Ha-ha!)

The reception was also good themed. I liked it and hopefully someday I can have this kind of reception too at my own wedding.

Thank you, Roxas, Capiz for a short yet meaningful trip!

That same night we had our four-hour trip going to Tibiao, Antique - my hometown where I was born.

We have close relatives there who owns the Tibiao Fish Spa and Kawa Inn and there we spent the night.

End of Day 2.

Then Day 3.

I've got the chance to initially soak my feet in the Fish Spa before we start our trip for the day.

Mararison Island here we come!

But before that, we dropped by to our relatives farm to taste and get some fruits and vegetables!

It was a white sand island and it was my first time to go there! I so love the white fine beach and its sand bar!

We also went on a short hike.

It was not a tiring if you are into hiking so for me it was an easy climb. For about half an hour, we were already on top! Yey! Mountain summit again!

I am so proud of having this little paradise on my own hometown and gladly to be back in here.

These little cute children also sang for us. Their voices are really goosebumps!

Then we're back to Tibiao Fish Spa for a relaxing night.

Indeed, this day was unforgettable for me and I am happy that I was with my family.

The following day was my returning day to the real world.
It was a short vacation but it was worth it.
I would always love to go back here.

Come and visit Antique!

Kruhay!
