Revisited: Tagaytay and Intramuros

Feb.25- 26, 2017 | Saturday and Sunday

There will be times that you will go on an unplanned trip. Just a random thought that will eventually – in a split second have turned into reality.
And for this weekend’s adventure, we went to Tagaytay!

“Tara, let’s go to Tagaytay!” Out of nowhere I said to my unplanned-trip buddy. And then after almost two hours, we reached Tagaytay.

We checked in at Famous Inn that cost us Php 1,000 good for two for overnight stay. (12 nn check in and 1 pm the following day check out). It was a nice room, studio type with aircon, own bathroom and cable and a master’s bed good for two.

We rested first and then at 4 in the afternoon, we went to People’s Park in The Sky. I went here when I was five years old and I still remember the place. Of course there has been change but some memories remained.

Just like the clouds that went down!

It felt like little Baguio!

We bought some souvenirs and then we headed to Olivares for our dinner
Bulalo Time!!!

After dinner, we went back to our inn and the following day we just visited the new McDonalds that has an amazing view.

At lunch, we were back to Manila and then headed to Intramuros for a quick stop. From Tagaytay, you can already rode a bus going straight to Lawton.

Aside from the great wall, we also visited the Baluarte De San Diego and it was my first time to step my feet in there.

It felt like traveling back in time and of course, great view from the top welcomed us.

We went home with wide smiles on our faces as we travel together and it just went well and amazing.

Thank you, travel buddy for being with me on this spontaneous trip!
