Tagaytay

I travel - Tagaytay

For a very real out of town trip that you want to have, having a day tour at Tagaytay would be the best place! It is a perfect place indeed for bonding with your friends, colleagues and family.
Just to look with the very scenic view that you can witness here will help you relax and forget for a while all the problems and stresses you left behind at a very busy life.

It is an hour drive away from Manila. You can go there using your own vehicle or via public transportation such as buses. I prefer to go there via bus.
From Pasay Rotonda, there is already buses that are passing thru Tagaytay. I rode a bus going to Olivares and fare was 60 pesos. Upon reaching Olivares, you can take a jeep or tricycle going straightly to Tagaytay Picnic groove. The fare for jeep is 10 pesos and 50 pesos for tricycle.  The entrance fee is 50 pesos and as you reach its gate many people will offer you private cottages, horseback and boat riding and etc. I advice that you avoid them first and walk straightly at the picnic area.
Recently, there are new activities that you can do. Zip line and cage riding ( same to cable car ) and many more. Of course the very classic activities such as horseback riding, kite flying and boat riding are still there.
Mount taal as the smallest active volcano of the Philippines is a bit quiet scenery.
Just looking at it will make you feel relaxed and so peaceful.
Above all, Tagaytay is a great place for resting and appreciating life through nature.
You can bring your own tent or blanket if you don’t want to rent a cottage that costs 150 to 1000 depending on its size.

Tagaytay is a perfect getaway from a busy urban living so once in a while take a time to visit this place and have some happy moments with your loved ones! J
